Hello there, I'm Cider! A Rochester-based artist currently studying illustration. I draw mostly furry characters, animals and birds! In my spare time I enjoy creating fursuits and whatever other cool craft has caught my eye. Commissions
Thank you for your interest in my art! Commissions are opened via announcement on Twitter and Instagram. All prices are listed in USD. Please review my Terms of Service linked below before asking for a commission. By commissioning me, you agree to those terms, so make sure you give it a look!Additional characters can also be added and are +75% of the base price. If you want something you don't see here, feel free to message me and we can discuss it!

Backgrounds can be added for an additional fee starting at $10. Complex ideas and props may be subject to an additional charge.Any commission type can be made into a badge that will be printed, laminated and shipped for an additional $10. Shipping in the US is free, shipping internationally may require an extra charge.Chibis can be made into a sticker for an additional $5. 3 copies of the sticker will be shipped to the commissioner, and more can be ordered for an extra fee. Terms of Service
General
As a general guide, I do not take commissions featuring NSFW content, including heavy gore. Complex mecha and machinery may be commissioned if reference images or 3D models can be provided. If you are unsure if your idea fits these themes, you can message me to discuss it.Rejections
I reserve the right to reject any commission for any reason. I may also cancel commissions for any reason, in which case the client will receive a full refund.Payment and Refunds
Payment will be given upfront via PayPal invoicing. Full refunds are only given if the commission is still in the sketch stage, or the commission is cancelled by myself. Once lineart or rendering has begun, a refund of 50% of the total commission price may be given. No refunds will be given for completed work. If the commission has been cancelled and refunded at the sketch phase I retain full ownership of that sketch and may choose to sell it as a YCH or similar.Legal Use
All work commissioned from myself is only for the client’s personal use. I retain all rights to the produced artwork. Profiting of my work in the form of prints, digital file sale, NFTs or any merchandisable way is prohibited. Sale of a character that the art depicts or manufacture for free or charitable distribution is exempt from this. If you are interested in commissioning me for commercial use, please state that in your messages to me and I can draw up a contract.Crediting
All artwork commissioned from me is hand drawn by myself. Do not claim that you or someone else created it. You may repost the commissioned artwork onto your own social media, but credit should be added at least once. If you have commissioned me for a custom character, do not claim the design as your own creation. Design and art credit should be added at least once.Miscellaneous
I am open to commissions for people without reference sheets, or people with written character descriptions. However, please do not request constant revisions to their markings and other characteristics unless you are commissioning a reference sheet.

Fursuit Commissions
Thank you for your interest in my creations! Fursuit commissions are currently taken on a case-by-case basis depending on my schedule and workload, and large openings are announced through Twitter and Instagram. Prices listed are estimates, an exact cost will be determined upon receiving the character reference and creating the quote. Shipping is not included in the price and will be added on after project completion.

All handpaws are made with the Kloofsuits paw pattern, stuffed and lined with minky paw pads. Two fur colors are included in the base price. Size can be adjusted to be smaller/more fitting. I am extremely flexible with my head construction methods. Bases are usually hand-carved from foam, but premade foam and 3D printed bases can also be worked with. Realistic heads are not available at the moment. Three fur colors are included in the base price.Price will increase depending on complexity. Features such as magnetic eyelids or tongues that I have not yet attempted may be requested with the understanding that they may not be perfect. The additional cost for these can be discussed.Additional fur color: +$20

Terms of Service
General Information
Before commissioning a fursuit, please be aware that fursuits are hot, bulky, and difficult to see in by nature. These are not defects, but a shared disadvantage among all fursuits. Always be cautious of overexertion and heatstroke while fursuiting. The creator is not liable for any damage done to the client through regular use of their fursuit.Payment
Payment will be made via PayPal invoicing. Payment plans are available for commissions over $300, but a deposit of up to 20% of the quoted cost will be required to cover the cost of materials. Work will not start until the payment is made in full.Shipping
Shipping is an additional cost that will be calculated once the commission is complete. Please keep this in mind when commissioning. All items are shipped to the client through USPS (or other if international). The creator is not responsible for any damage done to the fursuit while under the supervision of these courier services.Deadlines
Completion estimates are not deadlines. Missing the completion estimate is not grounds for cancellation or refund. All work will be completed within a 4 month window unless agreed upon otherwise. If this 4 month window passes the client can choose to be refunded in full. If you wish to request a deadline, please notify me upfront (this may add a rush fee to your commission).Cancellations and Refunds
The creator reserves the right to cancel any commission at any time, in which case a full refund will be given. If the client cancels the commission prior to the purchasing of materials, a full refund will be issued. If materials have already been purchased, a refund minus the deposit will be issued and the client can choose to have the materials shipped to them. If work has begun on the suit then there will be no refund, the finished fursuit/fursuit parts will be finished and sent to the client. In the event where the client becomes unreachable by given communications channels then the project will be considered abandoned and kept by the creator with no refund given.Repairs
Defects that arise within the first 14 days can be repaired by the creator at no cost to the client. The client must ship the fursuit/fursuit parts back to the return address and send the creator a message detailing the defect. The client will be reimbursed for shipping. Repairs requested after the first 14 days will be accommodated, but there will be no reimbursement to the client for the shipping cost. Repairs requested after 6 months may incur additional fees.Crediting
When showcasing your fursuit online it is appreciated to mention or tag the creator (Ciderhoots). Do not claim the fursuit/fursuit parts as your own creation or someone else’s.
